New England in paint and light.
My story
When I start a new landscape painting, my goal is to capture a moment I have personally experienced. I feel most connected to myself and reflective when I look at trees or watch clouds drift across the sky, and I aim to convey that feeling in my art. This process deeply renews me, and I work to translate that sense of renewal into my paintings.
After a long career in graphic design and illustration, including publishing my first children’s book in early 2025, I have shifted my focus to an early passion: landscape painting in oil and gouache. It’s exciting to return to my roots—creating real art with my hands rather than on a computer!
My journey as an artist began at age three when I discovered my passion for creating art. I earned a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and now live in the Boston suburbs with my husband, two young children, and our dog, Koji.
